When I finished university in London and moved to my own house in Bedford, I started to look into the possibility of getting a dog. I’d always been brought up with dogs and coming home to an empty house without that unconditional love was very disheartening.  I was working full time and was out of the house from 7am until 6pm so after a lot of thought, I decided that it wasn’t the right time.

I couldn’t quite put it to rest though so I started speaking to neighbours and colleagues with dogs and asked how they made it work.  They said that they would either go home during their lunch break, hired a dog walker, or put their dog into doggy daycare for the whole day.  I started to look into it and then realised, I didn’t want to get a dog to then pay for someone else to look after it all day, I wanted to be the one looking after everyone else’s animals!  I started walking dogs in the evenings after work and doing cat visits for people when they were on holiday and eventually started having people’s pets in my home at weekends.  Things really took off and in 2016, I took the plunge and quit my full time job to start my own pet sitting business, I’ve never looked back!

Three years on and now based near Washington in the North East of England, things have gone from strength to strength.  We finally got our own bundle of fluff, Mango the Golden Retriever, who joins our rabbits, Blossom and Boris.  We also have a fully air conditioned and bespoke fitted van to transport dogs to and from their walks.  We have never had anything other than 5/5* reviews which you can check out on our Facebook page along with lots of photos of what our gang get up to while their owners are away!
